About  Lourdes González

Lourdes González was born and raised in Puerto Rico. After earning a degree in Social Sciences from the University of Puerto Rico, she moved to the United States, where she built a career in clinical research for several years. She worked for prestigious institutions such as Columbia University Medical Center in New York City, the Duke Clinical Research Institute in North Carolina, and the University of North Carolina Cancer Center. She recognizes that these clinical experiences gave her valuable insight into the world of healthcare and confirmed her conviction that the highest level of well-being is achieved through an integrated mind-body approach.

Consequently, she left the field of clinical research and devoted herself to the study of natural and holistic medicine.

Her academic training includes:

  • M.A. in Consciousness, Transformation, and Health, John F. Kennedy University, California, USA

  • Graduate Certificate in Dreams and Health, John F. Kennedy University, California, USA

  • Clinical Program in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, Academy for Five Element Acupuncture, Florida, USA

  • M.A. in Medical Qigong, International Institute of Medical Qigong

  • Professional Certification in Mindfulness, The Institute for Cognitive Neuroscience and the University of Puerto Rico Medical Sciences Campus

  • Board Certified Specialist by the NCCAOM (National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine), the only nationally accredited agency for acupuncture and Oriental medicine in the United States

Lourdes González
says:

“I believe in the body’s innate ability to heal, and I know that at every moment our body sends us the signals we need to move toward—or return to—a healthy and balanced life. We should not try to block the messages we receive.

When we view healing from the perspective of wholeness, we understand that every part of our life matters. True transformation requires honest attention to all aspects of our being. This awareness empowers us to recognize that healing is our responsibility, and it cannot occur if we ignore the process.”
