About Lourdes
Lourdes is an artist, a teacher, a poet, a dreamer, a myth maker, and a Nature lover. Lourdes is also a Holistic Health Practitioner trained in Five Element Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
For the past thirteen years, Lourdes has engaged in the study of consciousness, transformation and healing through the study of psychology, philosophy, spirituality, deep ecology, East/West traditions and mind-body medicine, ancestral consciousness and indigenous wisdom, mythology, soul tending, dream work, somatic movement, nutrition, ecological medicine and new science.
Lourdes has a private healing practice in Walnut Creek, CA in which she incorporates different modalities that combine mind-body medicine. She believes in the innate healing capacity of the body and she trusts the body provides the messages one needs to maintain and to restore health.
In her practice, she takes into consideration all the different aspects of someone’s life, for every aspect contributes to one’s total state of health including someone’s environment and one's relationship to it, lifestyle, nourishment, emotions, dreams, thought processes, sleep patterns and health history including hereditary factors and stress.
Lourdes specializes in working with the meridians of energy in the body using non-invasive, gentle techniques that are pain free and very effective. Needles are not use in treatments.
